I drove up to stockton last weekend and brought home a bunch of my shoes to give to the Philippines. I had a pair of blue vans that I bought a couple of years ago and showed them to my mom.

When I arrived at the airport a week later, my parents were there to pick me up. My mom was wearing my old shoes.. I thought it was funny.. A little, traditional filipino lady wearing chunky blue Vans.. HA.. i love my parents...

in my opinion, your mom looks like a cross between Edna Mode from the Incredibles and Velma from Scooby Doo. i know it's randumb, but im glad that you love your parents soo much. kinda scary to think that our parents have any style huh? maybe she loves you so much she wants to look just like u! anyways happy 23 jacki D!
